Egg fried rice came first, small prawns and frozen peas were added to cooked rice along with fried egg and some black pepper and soy sauce.
The pork was simple and quick -good job too given that we first had to battle through yesterday’s mound of dishes. Pork tenderloin was cut into strips and the coated with cornflour and a little red chilli powder.
Szechuan peppercorns were fried in hot oil and the followed by the pork strips. After this was stir fried, cucumber that had been cut into thin strips with a vegetable peeler. Soy sauce, balsamic vinegar and sesame oil added flavour and a slight sauce.
Very tasty, though points off for having to crunch through peppercorns! 7.5 out of 10.
