First veggie meal Butternut Squash and Chickpea Curry

After a week of fish and meat we had our first meat free meal. An aromatic Squash,  Chickpea and Cannellini beans. The two hungry mouths stayed to tea again. Obviously they liked food. Although today’s scored just 7.5.

Fortunately we didn’t cook their offering,  fresh calves testicles.  Thrown at me in a rubber glove. Lovely. 

We had more Naan today,  justified the carbohydrates by going running…  Almost worth it.

Tomorrow’s dinner dry pomegranate chicken is marinating.  Looking forward to having more cooking time at the weekend, going to make some Indian desserts.  More cookbooks arrived today so options are expanding…

    How are you scoring – just on taste?

    It would be good to get a chef’s score on ease of preparation.
